New arrival kitchen brigade!
Cornelis proudly welcomes his new sous-chef: Misja Sanders. Misja started 35 years ago in various kitchens. Through renowned restaurants become a full sous-chef.
He earned his spurs at restaurants like De Engel, Boudoir, Prachtig, Het wapen van Vidaa and most recently in Restaurant Heerlijk.
He and Topchef Karim Aggoun are good old acquaintances. Together they plan to become the best in Rotterdam!

Cornelis nominated for ENTREE award
Cornelis has just opened his doors and is already nominated for the much desired 'Entree Hospitality & Style Award' in the category 'Best Restaurant & Bar'! When selecting the winners of this award, the business' restaurant and bar parts are equally important. Both parts also have to fit together perfectly.

Cornelis holds second place in the 'AD Gouden Pollepel' contest with a fantastic score of 8.1!
The section of Dutch newspaper AD called 'AD Gouden Pollepel' is a concept in hospitality country. The culinary critics visited Cornelis Rotterdam and they gave us an astonishing 8,1 (!) as the final mark. Thus we are second in the Rotterdam region!
